Mother's Day & More

My first Mother's Day was amazing. May 9th, 2010 was way better than my birthday. Jon made me breakfast while I hung out with Anna. After breakfast I took a shower (and took my time taking that shower), and when I got out they were gone. So I did a little work on the computer and when they came home, on top of Anna and her carrier was a bouquet of flowers. I pulled them off and started to take her out of her seat when I saw a card in her hand that said Mom on it. (Pictured above) It was so cute how she was holding it. Jon brewed that morning, and while he was busy in the kitchen I took Anna down to the garden with me to plant some carrots and spread some of the brewing leftovers around on the ground. The three of us went out to Jose Muldoon's for lunch and enjoyed the 70-some sunny degree weather on the back patio. After lunch we went shopping at the outlet malls and I got a few new clothes. Much needed, and am glad we went. For dinner that night we had potato salad and grilled chicken.

This week has been more manageable with only one small medical scare that turned out to be nothing. (Too gross to mention here, but I'm ok). I having a listing contract-signing meeting on Friday night and am excited for the added business. Saturday we have a wedding and Sunday I hope to have as a day of rest for all of us before another busy week.
