Let's Make a Deal

In 2009, Let's Make a Deal came back to TV with a new host, but the concept is similar. Re-runs of the Monty Hall days are still arguably better than Wayne Brady who hosts today's version of the show because of the wacky things he asks for from the audience and the flow of the show. Here's the premise: audience members dress up all wacky and are asked to show an item. This item could be nail clippers, a banana, or a stamp, etc. Those in the audience with that item stand up and the next item is called out and it is narrowed down to one remaining person who will then play the game, Let's Make a Deal. There are three doors to choose from, and temptations to deviate from your first choice along the way (they call this a tension builder), until the player finds out what he or she won, or finds a disappointing ZONK and they lose.

Today felt a bit like I traded in a lame prize in hopes of getting the BIG DEAL at the end of the show only to find out I only upgraded slightly by prize value, but felt more like a ZONK. Last week at the doctor's office she told me I was dialated about a finger, which from our baby classes I remembered it to be about 2 centimeters. Turns out, she meant to say a finger tip and I don't know what measurement that is. So today, after a weekend of bad cramping and wondering how much progress I was making (because I HAD to making some kind of progress!) I found out that I haven't been upgraded to one whole finger yet, but she did say a little more than 1 centimeter, I was softening more, and she was convinced you had dropped down a little lower...sorry if you feel like I am sitting on your head, I feel that way too.

I propose to make a deal with you. How about you show your sweet face sooner rather than later? You are measuring around 7 pounds, and there really isn't much more growing you need to do in there. At this point you are shedding the last of the languo hair and vernix, and that's something we can easily take care of out here. :) What's in it for you? You will get to see snow, snuggle with me and Daddy, and meet some neat people. Not to mention check out your new crib (home and literal sleeping space)!
